Update on the surgery – 10/03/2025

Late Thursday afternoon we had what started as a minor leak in the upstairs of the building, this followed with the mains water pipe into the building bursting causing significant flooding to a large area downstairs.

Once again huge thanks to all that have helped and supported us over the past few days and to all those offers of support, it has been much appreciated and we are extremely grateful.

Dispensary is open as normal, over the weekend we have managed to reopen the reception office. However the main waiting room is unusable. It has NOT affected any of our clinical rooms so we will operate as normal as we can but will be asking patients to wait in the corridors therefore space is limited.

If possible could we ask you attend your appointment alone and at the allocated time. Both telephone and face to face appointments will be offered enabling us to limit numbers in the building. We will reassess the situation as the day/week evolves and keep you all updated.

If you have any concerns or questions please do email whitehousesecretary@nhs.net.

We value and appreciate your continued understanding and patience during this time.

COVID and Flu Vaccinations

North Cotswold PCN COVID and Flu Vaccination Programme – Winter 2024/25

The North Cotswold PCN practices will be co-administering COVID and Flu vaccinations to all eligible patients this winter. The clinics will commence at Four Shires Medical Centre from the first weekend in October. If you can receive text messages, we will send you a booking link to make your appointment, otherwise, we will phone you.

If you know people who do not have mobiles, please reassure them that we will contact them by telephone. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CONTACT DETAILS ARE UP TO DATE WITH YOUR REGISTERED SURGERY.

If you are housebound and would like the vaccinations, please let us know, and you will be added to a list for when we are able to visit.

Clinic Guidelines

We ask that you follow these simple steps when attending our clinics:

  • Please try to arrive at the time you have booked.
  • Wear clothing that is easy to remove, with loose sleeves especially, to ensure it is easy for the clinicians to administer the vaccines.
  • Make it clear to the vaccinator if you are having both the FLU and COVID vaccinations.
  • Do not attend if you have a FEVER.
  • Do not attend if you have had a positive COVID test in the 4 weeks prior to your appointment.
