Dr Christopher C Morton
MBBS Obstetrics
Dr Christopher C Morton MBBS Obstetrics. Educated at Solihull School, and The Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel. I am married to Sarah, a local Superintendent Physiotherapist and have two children. My main hospital interests were as a physician, with a specialised interest in rehabilitation of stroke and spinal injuries. I came to The White House Surgery in 1987 and hold a Specialist Allergy Diagnosis and Treatment Clinic within the practice. Additionally, I have an interest in minor surgery procedures with a separate list, and teach both graduate and under graduates within the practice and at local centres. Outside the practice, I represent the North Cotswolds Medico Political, at a county and national level.
Dr Maxine Emes
I joined the practice in April 2013. I qualified from St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London in 2006 and completed my GP training in Somerset. I took my first position in a GP Surgery in Glastonbury where I spent a year working before returning to my childhood home in the Cotswolds and joined The White House Surgery as a salaried GP covering clinics at both Blockley, Four Shires Medical Centre and also the Ward rounds at North Cotswold Hospital. I am a keen athlete and often at the weekends you will find me competing in triathlons, training in the outdoor lakes, pounding the streets with my beloved dog or cycling the country lanes checking out the new bakeries around the Cotswolds. I have an interest in women’s health and palliative care.
Dr Mark Draper
I completed a Zoology degree in 1974 and studied Medicine at Guy’s Hospital London until 1979. I completed vocational training in General Practice in King’s Lynn in 1985 and for 3 years worked as a GP/Anaesthetist in the Turks and Caicos Islands BWI. I have a commitment to family orientated General Practice and I developed an ongoing interest in nutritional medicine during my career and specifically how to integrate these ideas with pharmaceutical medicine in the management of acute and chronic illness. I am married to Jay, a Fostering and Adoption Social Worker and together we had four boys, three of whom are now married and we have 4 grandchildren.
Dr Oliver Rintoul-Hoad
My career had an unconventional start, working as a Chartered Accountant following a degree in Chemistry from the University of Durham. I eventually realised my passion for medicine and made the decision to start medical training at Warwick University. My resident doctor and GP training years were spent in Warwick, Birmingham and Coventry and I have previously worked as a GP in Stratford-upon-Avon and Wellesbourne, before moving joining the White house as a partner in 2024. I have also worked as a Director of the South Warwickshire GP Federation helping to support general practices and provide new medical services.I have special interests in cardiology and palliation and I’m trained in pre-hospital emergency care, with my weekends often consisting of providing medical cover for outdoor sporting events, such as British Eventing and horseracing. I live with my wife, two children and two dogs, none of whom respect any of my opinions, medical or otherwise.
